What We Do

Our research interests focus on the development of supramolecular hydrogels, macroporous scaffolds, hybrid nanoparticle/soft matter assemblies, and exploitation of the biomedical applications of assembled materials. The supramolecular self-assembly of building blocks is of interest given their ability to produce innovative advanced materials, with potential applications as biological mimics, smart devices and tissue regenerative scaffolds. Current research projects involve the design and application of supramolecular hydrogels, adhesives, emulsion templated scaffolds, and hierarchical self-assembled hybrids.
